I’m late getting this done, but then, I’ve been behind most of this week. However, Silver Threading is so kind as to say there’s no rules to this game. And since I’ve had Junot Diaz on my reading list for far too long, this was a great time to catch up on some of his words–even if brief.
Just the fact that you get to live and breathe and interact with the world – that’s pretty marvelous.
And I especially liked this one:

He’s been a writer I’ve wanted to read for a while. Every once in a while I see one of his FB posts and it reminds me, lol, but I forget when it comes time to buy the next book. Or I get immersed in a long series of other books that takes my mind off of it for a while, which is what I’m doing at the moment again… Thanks for the reminder!
Maybe we need to remind each other!! And yes, I get lost in my stacks of books too.
