This was taken in from the steps of a hall at the downtown university (UMKC). I’d gone down for a surreal sort of poetry reading and when I went outside, a surreal-sort of light mist fell and the night was rosy. Too dark for a clear shot. But I loved the looks of it anyway, so it’s still in my file.

Perfect “picture” for this rather weird-weather Sunday. But at last I had a good enough “reason” to just hang out in my wee art corner of laundry room. Seems the renovated basement was the best place to spend this stormy day. I have to admit that stormy days are second only to snow days on list of favorites!
What a great place to be – in the art corner. I’ve listened to rain. Nice sound. thanks for peeking in! J.
