I took this shot at the Missouri History Museum restaurant in Forrest Park. The food was fabulous – a Bixby’s of fresh ingredients and local foods, but I was most entranced by the coffee cup. I’m left-handed so fancy coffee cups rarely fit my hand, but this one did. And it fit my husband’s hand and he’s right-handed. An elegant design in an elegant setting: the round of the spoon, the round of the cup, the curved round of the handle, the round of the bubbles in the coffee, the round of the saucer, and the round of the corner on the chrome plate. Nice.
Reminds me of an old song: ” I push the little valve down, the music goes round and around…whoa-oh-oh-ohhh….and it comes out here!”
PS: Forrest Park in St. Louis for those not familiar with Missouri.
