Weekly photo challenge: Boundaries

Practicing Boundaries

First, the mind sees big blocks of ideas – too many things to look at – too many distractions.

So you find one thing to look at, say the porch rooftop.

That looks pretty simple – a small stretch for the eyes, soft folds.

A fixed boundary, sides, a place to rest.

I wasn’t quite expecting more chatter by reducing boundaries

to a closer focus. How do I reach the soft folds?

The challenge to come back to the same practice

every day
